GEO Business 2023, is the event shaping the future of Geospatial technology.

Hosted at ExCeL London on 17-18 May 2023, the show brings the geospatial community together all under one roof. Each year around 3,000 experts from across the profession attend to share ideas, source new technologies, discover new ways of working and grow their networks.

The highly anticipated 2023 event is set to be the best yet, featuring 120 global brands and cutting-edge start-ups showcasing the newest tech, tools and solutions for geospatial. Plus, a CPD accredited education programme with 200 sessions to choose from will allow visitors to get up to date with the latest developments.

Amongst the lineup of speakers on the 17th May, Advanced Infrastructure's CEO Christopher Jackson will be taking to the stage to deliver the session "Geospatial tools for energy projects".

What are the major blockers to energy projects: from huge solar and windfarms to the long tail of build retrofits. How can we use geospatial tools and data to unblock a £400 billion pipeline of low carbon technologies to electrify heating and transport?

The session will review the most important datasets for energy planning covering Energy Networks, Sociodemographics, and Building Stock as well as exploring the key geospatial barriers to deploying a pipeline of low-carbon technologies.
