Advanced Infrastructure at Highways UK 2023

Grace Martin, Head of Marketing, Advanced Infrastructure

Taking place on the 18th-19th October 2023 at the NEC Birmingham, The Highways UK event brings together the people responsible for planning, developing, managing, maintaining, and future-proofing the nation's road networks.

Featuring industry leaders sharing their views and expertise in theatres including Local Authority Theatre, Technology & Transformation Stage, Innovation Stage, Sustainability Theatre and more, this two day event is free to attend and also hosts over 300 exhibitors from across the globe.

Advanced Infrastructure's Co-Founder and Head of Product, Lily Cairns Haylor will be taking to the stage at Highways UK 2023 to deliver a case study on how utilising Advanced Infrastructure's LAEP+ tool has helped accelerate local area energy planning in projects RESOP (The Regional Energy System Optimisation Planning Project) and LEO (Local Energy Oxfordshire).

The case study will demonstrate how cross-sector stakeholders across local authorities and Distribution Network Operators can collaborate to identify prime sites for public EV Charge Points, plan the local decarbonisation of transport and collaborate to plan new network connections.

Alongside the case study session, Advanced Infrastructure will also be exhibiting at the event, enabling delegates to take advantage of a free demonstration of our Local Area Energy Planner Plus tool (LAEP+).
